Dr. Jessica May MRCVS is a veterinary professional working in equine practice and veterinary digital health. With a strong educational background and broad experience, she has made significant contributions to the field of veterinary medicine.

Dr. May's journey in veterinary medicine began at the Royal Veterinary College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Veterinary Sciences. She then pursued her passion for animal care by completing her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (Hons) through the GraduatAccelerated program.

During her career, Dr. May has gained practical experience in both clinical practice and digital health. For seven years, she dedicated herself to equine practice, providing medical care to horses and their owners and trainers. Her skills and dedication earned her prestigious internships at Bell EquineVeterinary Clinic in Kent, England, and The Hong Kong Jockey Club in Hong Kong, where she gained experience in the global racing industry.Driven by a desire to explore the intersection of veterinary medicine, technology, and business, Dr. May transitioned into the field of veterinary digital health. Over the past four years, she has been at the forefront of integrating digital health solutions into veterinary practice, ensuring that animal owners can readily access the care their beloved companions deserve. Firstly, as UK Lead Veterinarian at Swedish-founded telemedicine company FirstVet, and most recently, as Customer Success Team Lead at PetsApp, digital ecosystem for veterinary clinics.

Dr. May's commitment to advancing the profession is evident through her involvement in various organisations. She is a proud member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and a Board Member of the Veterinary Virtual Care Association, actively contributing to their missions and goals.
Outside of her professional endeavours, Dr. May dedicates her time as a volunteer vet for the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), offering her expertise to support therapeutic horseback riding and carriage driving programs.Looking ahead, Dr. May has ambitious goals and aspirations within the realm of veterinary digital health. She firmly believes that by combining digital tools with in-person care, veterinary professionals can revolutionise the way they serve their clients and patients.
